Adding further insult, The A's and White Sox - two of the worst records in the AL last season have winning records. A's are in first place in the AL West.

The Sacramento A’s. They should just stay there if they keep winning.

We are the Cleveland Browns of MLB at this point…as much as I hate to say it.

Is this a news flash? I used to say we were the Clippers of the MLB. And I’m not sure we are the Browns, they never have hope. We are the Jaguars. Every once in a great while, we make a run, then go back to no one caring out side of our area.

I like how we signed Refsnyder because he hits for great average against lefties. We only play him vs lefties and he is hitting less than .125 on the season. I've been saying this all along but that's on the hitting coach, and whatever approach they are taking.

This team is brutal to watch all around.

Edgar just can't figure out why these guys can't rip a screaming liner every other at bat.


As far as brutal to watch, yeah. I listen to most of the games when I'm working (self employed construction). I was trying to think of how many times this season when the team really needed a hit for the go-ahead or tying run they actually got one. I came up with about 2X all season.
