Had we beat the Giants we would still need to have beaten the Rams today. Gonna have a lot of woulda, coulda, shoulda's this year. The weird thing I still don't know if we are any good. We really don't have a good win to our name.
Yeah, we really don't. It's official that we won't have a single conference victory against a team with a winning record. We'll probably (and that isn't locked in yet) have just one win against any of the 14 teams that makes the playoffs; either a Broncos team we got in week 1 starting a rookie QB in his NFL debut (as great as Nix looks now, he didn't have a TD pass until week 4), or a Dolphins team in week 3 that started a backup QB they later cut and was not picked up by anyone else.

A little frustrating too because we were probably one of the healthiest teams in the league this year. That's certainly not guaranteed to happen again next season.

We can't beat second string Rams and yet we keep talking about playoffs, let it go

Forget the Giants game. the game we needed to win was overtime vs. the Lambs. Then the shoe is on the other foot.

That game could have gone either way but the giants game was an absolute embarrasment. They were a dysfunctional scrubby franchise with a qb who is no longer part of the team. We were playing them at home of all things.

I'm happily watching my beloved Seahawks whipping up on the hated lambs. Go piss in someone else's cornflakes.
Wait, are we watching the same game? In my multiverse I’m watching the hawks struggling to contain the rams backups. It’s a one score game and, frankly, we look like shit.

What is happening in your world!?

A win in our last game of the season, that's what. Don't you start too.

Well, 10-7 isn’t really that bad for a rookie staff.

Definitely disappointed as we should’ve won at least two more and made the playoffs.

But, even though it’s ’any given Sunday’, this team isn’t capable of beating higher tier teams. Sometimes, it looks as if they can (like hanging with Minnesota) but we weren’t ever a real threat.

I still feel that we’re a minimum of 2-3 years out…and then it’s still a dice roll. While that may come off as negative, we’re behind a bit ‘building block’ wise.

Stuff like this is a matter of perspective and expectations.

No reason you can’t both be a little right.

Any player smiling after this game should be cut from the team. I also hope the team cans Grubbs and Harbaugh in the humiliating fashion.
