Martinez is vastly better than McIntosh at any rate we probably need to add a running back for depth.

Gottdamn, man 🙄
Are you talking about my comment ? Sorry, kind of dickhead harsh thing to say. I feel real bad for him actually. He's a fringe nfl player that's going to miss a whole year. And with a whole new crop of talent to challenge his spot in 2026 while he's battling to get to 100 %. And its already crowded in Seattle with talent

I mean it’s Charbonett for me if I’m the OC. Kubiak likes a bell cow style of runner with toughness like Zach brings to the table. I like Walker but he gets worn out a lot and isn’t as good between the tackles and doesn’t have the body style to take a beating. Charbonett is like Derek Henry
I'm sure Charbonett will have his chance to shine this season. Walker always gets a little dinged up.

I teeter totter back and forth. I have no doubt KW3 is the better back.

But damn I love Charbs run style.

Nah, I was just commenting in general. Going back and reading your post, I actually kinda agree with you.

ETA: I was pulling for Kenny Mack to have a breakout season. I see a little bit of Shady McCoy in his game. Just a lil bit.

Look at what Charby did in AZ last year for a glimpse of his talent level. Should be a break out year if Zach continues to ball out like he’s capable of
We’ll see, but he needs a line in front of him as he’s not real fast. That’s why Walker if he ever stays healthy is definitely a better running back.

Walker has better big run capabilities and is probably overall the better back but on short yardage charbs is undoubtedly better and quite clearly the guy you’d pick going forward just because of how available he is compared to walker. Cant pay both probably

I'd rather punish defenses ala beast mode style.

Let me preface these follow comments by stating, I'm ignoring the OL/OC woes and strictly looking at one player.

KW3 is supposed to be a big run threat, but he hasn't delivered. Very uninspiring stats in that department, literally bottom of the league when it comes down to it. I had to go check and was shocked at how poorly he has been doing in 20+ yard runs, and average per attempt.

This will be a make or break season for him to show he really is capable of hitting home runs (so far he hasn't). Right now he's all flash, time to nut up.

I think all our running backs will prosper considerably more this year than they did last year. Not only is the new scheme slanted in their favor but I get the impression our O Line is already better than they were last year. If those guys can get it together our offense will ignite and build on each success they achieve. Stacking it up one play at a time! Then game after game. Rollin' rollin' rollin, Rawhide!

Maybe the worst thing about losing Kenny is his skill as a returner. Now we may have to risk Horton or someone just as important to assume those high risk duties.
