DTs are overrated. When Murphy comes back, odds are the secondary will still suck against good QBs.
More likely a scheme issue, not a roster issue

Except it isn't just one guy. We're missing our top pass rushers, our top DT. Most of these guys are backups, what this is saying is our depth is weak -- which we all knew going into the season.

Also, the DLINE is one of the three main components of the defense. Murphy creates pressure up the middle and blows up things in the backfield. That sort of disruption is invaluable.
