I know it’s SOP to not play the starting QB much in the preseason but with a whole new coaching staff and new offense I’d like to see him out there.

He’s been back to practice for awhile. I’m pretty sure it’s just a case of the preseason normal.

I don’t need him out there a whole game but I think he could play some in the 1st quarter.
If it were up to me I’d play mostly starters the 1st quarter of game 1 then the 1st half game 2 then back to a quarter in the final game giving them a full games time in preseason.
Of course I’m not an NFL coach. Probably for good reason
