No Game Balls?

I heard earlier today Pete say the team doesn’t give out game balls. They broke that trend today to acknowledge Jamal breaking the NFL record for most sacks by a safety. Since when haven’t we been giving out game balls? There is plenty of past footage in the locker room where game balls are given out. Head scratcher for sure. Anyone?

Yeah they’ve definitely given out game balls, we have video evidence. Maybe it’s something new they started this year??

I heard this too, and admittedly, it's been awhile since I've seen any game balls given out, I didn't really give it any thought. Would be interested to hear when and why this began (or ended I suppose).
