^ Unsure if you're being serious, but that is in fact good news for Philly. I'm no fan, but Pete made clear prior to his entry into the draft that Sanchez was good, just not ready. Sitting a while and getting away from Zoo York may have been just the thing he needed. If a Philly fan, obviously I'd prefer Foles, but I think Sanchez will win them some games, too. Or perhaps better said, not lose them any.

I wouldn't mind a healthy Seattle DEF playing against Sanchez..

I heard his old OC is in Philly now. That's why he's there. I think he'll do better there than NY. How good, only time will tell.

Oh, is that why Brady, and Manning are so injury prone?

Each has suffered a season-ending injury after taking a hit. However, Foles' pocket presence makes Brady and Manning look like Fran Tarkenton by comparison. At times when he's trying to avoid a sack, it looks like Foles' cleats are actually made of lead.

The way it sounds right now the soonest Foles would possibly be ready to come back would be against our Hawks. It would be kind of cool to see Pete Carroll vs Mark Sanchez though.

I think Sanchez will flourish in Foles absence.

Chip Kelly will make Sanchez some money on his next contract. If I'm a qb there's not a coach in the league is rather play for.

Exactly. His offense creates enormous passing lanes with easy progressions. Part of Chip's brilliance is making QB somewhat irrelevant. I hope he never pays QB's, just to buck the NFLs status quo.

Resident Eagles fan living in Seattle....just wanted to stop by a share a few opinions on a few posts, if I may.

100%. I was actually at the game in Houston yesterday and I was pretty impressed with Sanchez as a whole, I thought he managed the offense very well (especially for not having any 1st team snaps all season).

Really, he had one bad throw yesterday that was picked (and there is debate that Cooper/Matthews got tangled up in their route which led to the pick) as the second interception should have been brought down by Josh Huff.

Didn't Mercilus get hurt as well?

Demeco Ryans, you mean? Yeah...he's done for the year and that really does hurt the defense as he is the vocal leader but I've seen a lot of people saying he's the Eagles best LB which simply isn't the case.

He's stout in the run game and that's about it. Michael Kendricks is easily the Eagles best all around LB. Hell, PFF had Connor Barwin and Trent Cole graded ahead of them both.

But make no mistake about it, his vocal presence will be sorely missed.

My thoughts exactly. Sanchez is coming in at a perfect time too. The Eagles have been down two of their best run blockers since the beginning of the season and he's getting them both back which should really help open up the run game again. Jason Kelce came back last week and Evan Mathis will be back next Monday Night.

With all that being said, I am really looking forward to this game---I think it has the potential to be fantastic whether its Foles or Sanchez for the Eagles. I was hoping it would be flexed into a SNF game but apparently Fox has protected it so it'll remain a 1:25 PST kick.
