I’ve noticed several games this year, that’s he’s grabbing his wrist in pain. Today, he came out for a few plays. Has anyone else noticed this?

Saw the trainers looking at it today, 3d quarter, I think. Might be a concern. Haven't heard anything about it yet.

Agreed. Trainers need to wrap those wrists better before the game starts.

I believe todays injury was caused by trying to punch the ball out but he connected with the helmet/face guard IIRC...

This was the second play he hurt that wrist on. Also got hurt on the same wrist in a TFL (or his sack, I don’t recall which one it was)

not so much hit the helmet as his hand got smashed between the helmet and the ground on the follow through.
As they were falling to the ground.

The equivalent of a door closing on your hand. OUCH! 😬

Fortunately, it didn't seem like it was anything serious as he was able to go back in later and continue his stellar play.

Though I would've been putting a ton of ice on it after the game to prevent any swelling.

Are they not allowed to wear gloves with TPRs on the back of the hand in the NFL?
I'm sure they are allowed, but players value their hands so much that they are very careful about what kind of gloves they wear, so it doesn't affect their grip.
