I remember watching Don early in the 1980s. He wore #25 if I recall correctly.

Years ago, Don Dufek seemed to go out of his way to encourage me as a young child attending a youth football event in Spokane. I would never have any opportunity to go on to ever play actual football being born with a severe leg defect. Didn't matter that day. Anyway, he made a lasting impression and immediately became a favorite of mine. Thank you, Mr. Dufek, for simply being kind to a kid that needed it.
