not awesome.

Carolina has the 2nd best defense in the NFL.

Funny, but I was worried about that 05 Panthers team. They had a decent defense and a great offense, very similar to our team back then. NO ONE predicted we'd blow them out like that.

Deja Vu all over again.

ITs fun to watch the Panthers right now.....cause we got the win over them, if it were the other way around, not so fun.

I would totally be down for a rematch of the '05 game. Considering the last few times the Racistskins have gotten to the playoffs, we've booted them out, it would only be fitting if we did the same to the Panthers.

I really want to play the 9ers at home in the NFCCG, but right now they're not even a lock for the playoffs (gosh it feels nice to say that). Beating them to go on to the Superb Owl would crush and demoralize their fan base and probably their team.

I don't see getting much more enjoyment out of a NFCCG win than that.

Every team's going to be decent in the playoffs. So the question is do you want to play a team with a great offense and pretty good defense like NO? Or do you want to play a team with a great defense and pretty good offense like Carolina?

Personally I'd rather take our chances with Carolina at home. They'd be young and inexperienced in the playoffs, therefore I could see Cam making a bunch of mistakes. Much more so than a veteran team like the Saints.

Not afraid of Carolina. I'm glad Carolina won, who doesn't like to hear Brady swear at a ref :), but in that last Panthers drive Cam seemed listless. From the shotgun he gets the hike and barely moves. I couldn't help but think of Russell whose entire body is alive with possibilities. Cam seemed almost disinterested.

We crush.

Watching MNF is just occurred to me the NFCCG could very easily be Carolina at Seattle.

Again.

That would be AWESOME.

The NFC is going to be very tough for everybody this year. The HAwks will most likely have to play 2 games against 2 of these 3 teams, 49ers, Saints and Panthers. It will be two games at home, but it will still be incredibly tough. Just think about having to play the niners in the first game and the Saints in the 2nd, or niners in the first, Carolina in the 2nd.

Tough road to the Superbowl, it was a hellava lot easier in 2005.

Maybe, you never know. There are usually a few surprises and upsets in the wildcard rounds, which could send a weaker team up (banged up) here for the divisional rounds and/or NFCCG.

But that's the whole point of getting a bye and HFA, to assure yourself that you're not ONE of those weaker/banged up/tired teams trying to limp through the playoffs like the Skins were last year.
