Are we extending this into the playoffs for NFC West teams (lol as if anyone but the Seahawks this year) that are playing in the postseason, or does it end with the conclusion of week 17?

Just curious.

The Cardinals loss to the Saints ensures that only the Seahawks will be the only NFCW team the playoffs. No reason we can't have a regular season tie that pushes the game into the postseason. I hate ties.

If there isn't a rule, I suggest that only those tied for the top spot at the end of the season progress into the post season, but this is Alice's restaurant and she sets the rules.

Good points both of you. I was wondering about this myself last week when I realized we will probably need some sort of tie-breaker that may extend past Week 17.

I'd like some sort of plan that is useful next year too, but this year it cannot be ignored that only the Hawks will be in the play-offs. I'd probably lean towards those within 2 or 3 points of each other at the top pick as long as an NFCW team (Hawks this year) are in the play-offs and also add in either picking the spread or naming the total game points.

I'd like for all of you to play to a winner.

Let's wait until after week 17 is concluded so you know how many ties there are and how many people are only one point behind, then you can decide what to do based on what feels right at the time? Since the games are limited, you could even extend it from being NFC West to all playoff games, or all NFC playoff games, if you wanted.

I'm not asking for you to do anything, just tossin' out potential ideas.

Good points again. However, I'd like to state rules in advance as to me that just seems more fair as it's done before anyone actually knows who ends up where.

I'm going to look at the updated chart with the next two week point options in mind and then see what. Goal is to have the game finish out both fair and fun.

Updated Chart after Week 15.

There were 4 perfect picks this week: bigskydoc, mpc_hawks, Seahawkfan80, and LolaRox.

Something is wrong with your math on Fade.

You have two mistakes on MPC's weekly picks, but they actually balance each other out.

Fade should have a total of 33.

Thanks for catching that guys! I'll update the chart with both of the fixes.

Week 16: S, R

Seahawks over Cards. I expect a game just as ugly as the last time these two teams met. Seattle pulls away in the 4th qtr. though.

Rams overs 49ers. Gurley should be able to finally have a breakout game against the worst run defense in the NFL.
