Any Revis tweets about this? Was it Roddy White who said he wouldn't put Shem in the top 50 of the 100 best? Oops.

For all the Sherman detractors that say he'll be a lockerroom cancer eventually or its all about him...go watch his latest press conference. When asked about his NFC defensive player of the month award, his immediate response is "This is a team award." The guys a special player and I hope he's a Seahawk for life
Who the hell said that?

I don't remember names. There's been countless Sherman threads and in every single one it seems there's a couple that says he'll end up being a lockerroom cancer, he'll hold out for money and cause division, and he's a selfish player.

But scratch that, this thread is about the awesomeness that is the Shermanator

I don't remember names, but in the first big discussion about Sherman's attitude that .NET had, (I believe it started following the Patriots game) there were quite a few people that wanted him to absolutely shut up and stop talking. I specifically remember that.
Oh I thought he meant somebody in the media. Yahoos on the Net don't count. ;)

He actually is smart...and sensitive! He was really crushed by not going until the fifth round. He thinks Harbaugh (his college coach) talked smack about him to NFL people who were scouting him before the draft. Sherman seriously despises Harbaugh.

Yup huge group of people who got after Sherm for being so talkative. I, as well as I think many other posters loved the attitude because he backed up every bit of it on the field. Our secondary is cocky and they have every reason to be. Keep the trash talk coming guys, it just makes everyone else mad.

SEC > Oregon? :sarcasm_off: :snack:

Kidding aside, Justin Houston had 7.5 sacks in September. Pretty impressive.

As a female, I find this post really gross, why couldn't you have left it at she's really cute? I know this is a football forum and basically all men, but sheesh.

On topic, it's awesome to see Sherman rewarded finally, overdue award IMO. It'll be even sweeter when he gets DPOTY later on. The last two years, when watching the games, I find myself waiting for the defense to come onto the field and the LOB (and the D-line this year) are the reasons why. D is so much fun to watch when it's clicking.

I have no problems with players if they can back up their talk. Seattle was always known as a "soft team" Pre-PC, not anymore thanks to guys like Sherman who say they are going to steal your NFL lunch money, then they go ahead and do it as the opposing teams limps off the field beat up and mentally deflated.

Oh its the same as someone showing the ladies a fireman calendar. Human response, nothing to be too worried about. He kept it PG13.
