Aside from what ZtoL did with the Mirer to Wilson (which is cool as all get-out), I see absolutely NO problem rockin a Tate or a Red or even a Clem jersey with pride. I'd be at the game, standing and screaming, beer in my right hand, left hand in the air, wearing a frikken Galloway jersey for crying out loud.
Don't see any of the "player's gotta be currently on the team or the jersey makes me look un-12-ish" mentality going on here. Y'all should be ashamed. (or, more to be more .NET PC... "the indications of intent provided by reading your posts" should be ashamed...)
Three rules to a jersey being cool enough to be worn, and/or seen by others wearing, anywhere on planet earth, with pride, any damn time:
1.) It is a Seattle Seahawks player's jersey.
2.) It is a Seattle Seahawks player's jersey.
3.) see rules 1 and 2.
If I run into you on the sidewalk wearing a torn-up and barely-recognizable Jeff George jersey, I will high five you.
