Music City Miracle - GB Miracle - same outcome

Just thought of it this morning - this was the closest finish (IMHO) since the Tennesse vs St Louis Superbowl 2000

While I realize Tennesse did it earlier they did have an absolute miracle to make it through the playoffs via the famous Music City Miracle. I would say that Seattle beating GB with the late TD, Onside-Kick and then TD and finally winning it in OT was as much a miracle. While not one play just the string of plays is right there.

Ironically both teams end up not winning it on the final play. Lynch got within inches and then well we all know what happens and for the Titans Kevin Dyson came within inches....

Just found it interesting mabye someone else does as well

It's odd, because it's almost like we made it to the Superbowl on pure luck. I know that's not true, it was our players scrapping and fighting for every inch.

Hopefully you didn't read my post as pure luck got us there. Agree on disliking the ending. That great of a game by two teams putting it all on the line and from our perspective you just wish we won / lost it on something that didn't give us controversy. To get that far in a season and end it with controversy kind of sucks.

From the NE perspective - they look at it like one of their guys stepped up but still that isn't getting the story as much as what a bad call it was from Seattle......
