Headlines have been intentionally vague forever. This is nothing new. It would be a lie if the headline said we were hiring him for sure and with the internet today that wouldn’t surprise me but if the headline is vague and the brief article is accurate it’s not a lie

In this particular case maybe they changed the headline but to say he’s moving forward as it reads now isn’t anything out of the ordinary.
