I'm at a 10!

SC has shown us little to no evidence that they can bring it in Seattle. These two teams know what the other is capable of, and in a lot of case know what they're going to do. So far, Seattle has given the niners the boot and this game is going to be a lot of the same. I'd be more concerned if this game was being played down South, but it's not. Just as nervous for the game as I would be any other playoff game, but I'd be shocked if Seattle dropped this game.

I've been going back and forth on this.... I would have to say about a 4 if I'm being honest with myself... 7 if I can keep the blue and green shades planted firmly on my face... And this started back when we couldn't close out a game against a team (AZ) who gift-wrapped four extra possessions for us... at home! I dunno... this offense has been anemic over the past month, and now we get the chance to face a D that just dominated Carolina for an entire half of football.

Honestly... this thing is a coin flip at best. (But it feels pretty damn good to have gotten to the conference championship!)

About 4. I don't think the week 2 game holds much water at this point. SF is a much better team now and is playing the type of D that gives us fits. I have all the faith in our own D, but I am worried we will be looking at a game where a fluke play or turnover on our side of the field will make the difference. They've improved over each of the last 3 games and have learned to not get cute against the Hawks like they did the last two home games. They play their game, we play ours, I just have concerns about the Hawks putting it in the end zone enough and stringing enough first downs together to take some pressure off the D.

The Whiners have one, and only one shot at winning this game: Yellow Laundry. That's it, that's all. Hawks win convincingly with 50/50 officiating and if there's any kind of home field bump from the refs at all, it won't be close.

Anybody who really believes this "won't be close" hasn't been paying attention to the playoffs.... IMO

Gonna get shot for this, but whatever........ I am at best a 2.

The offense just has me nervous as hell. The run defense did not look normal last week and I fear that improvements will not be made in time.

God, I hope I am wrong and end up looking like a total dick.

I'm pretty sure I read these exact same words from people right before the week 2 match up. The Niners were "unbeatable" after beating Rodgers and the Packers and our offense was anemic down against an "inferior" Panthers team.

I give it an 8. This is the NFC Championship at home, the Hawks will bring it and so will the 12th man.

LOL... I can appreciate this good and honest post as I thought I would be alone in my "nervousness"....

I'm calling it now though... the team with the most rushing yards wins. Simple as that.

Carolinas secondary was abysmal. Ours is not, I'm at 12.

Can't argue with this...

The biggest surprise to me though? 1 Sack for Carolina and to be fair, Carolina's front 7 > Everybody.

6.5 but I think you'll know by the start of the 3rd quarter. I don't like our chances in a close game. I think we either win by 14+ or lose by 3.

Teams that are favored by 3.5 points historically win about 60% of the time. As a result, the rational approach is probably to have a confidence level around 6 or so. That being said, the people with a confidence level of 8 or more right now are happier than the rest of us so there is something to be said for optimism.

Absolutely....this year has been a great ride...I figure why not enjoy it? We don't get that many opportunities and although we may expect to have a run that lasts many years, there are too many factors to be assured of that. I'll continue to keep enjoying the ride until we lose a game (which I don't see happening)

Yep! I figure that we will be perennial contenders going forward so, it is what it is... If we lose Sunday, at least we have that to fall back on... It's not like this season is a fluke. Still would like to get the prize sooner than later!

Cautiously optimistic. I never predict a win or a loss, but there hasn't been a game this year that we didn't have a chance to win.

Any given Sunday.

Pretty confident, but not expecting to win by more than 10 points. I guess that adds up to a 7.5 for me.

24-14 or 27-17 Seahawks all the way.

6.5, get Harvin for even the first half, and I'm at an 8. I still believe that if we score 20 we win this game.

6. Fairly confident and it's not dependent on KJ or Harvin or play calling or how many passes Russell completes. We have crushed them twice here and lost a squeaker there. They beat AZ and AZ beat us...at home. There are so many parallels between these two teams that are so evenly matched. HFA is worth 3-4 points so Hawks 23 - Niners 21.
