I don't have a hard-on for hating Moffitt like some Seahawks fans seem to, but the truth is at this point, he is going to lose the training camp battle to Sweezy almost certainly, and if Cable chose to let Seymour back up Sweezy over Moffitt, I would not be shocked about it either.

He's nice insurance in case of injury, though. I feel comfortable with him in there. Can Moffitt play RT or C at least decently enough in a pinch?

Enough is enough with John.

The Hawks should let him go.

Football is not his #1 priority.

It's sad because NFL football and the Hawks success means more to us than it does to him.

ABSOLUTELY agreed!

All yous guys that don't like big goofballs can bite me  but the hand writing is on the wall, entertaining bits on Real Rob Report don't translate to play on the field

I love his entertainment value, but after 30 plus years of supporting this team I want every player on it playing football at a high level so I can die with a god damned championship.

He's a douchey frat boy who makes stupid decisions. These off the field actions aren't enough to kick him off the team, but it sure won't help him come cut time.

So true. Stakes are high because the potential in this team is so damn great.

I don't mind someone having fun and getting into some harmless trouble.

I don't even mind all the drinking. Some athletes can handle it and others can't, although the very best ones don't go overboard with it.

I like that he is he is funny and goofy and keeps the team loose.

But I hate to think that the Hawks wasted a third round pick on someone who might not be putting the necessary work to make himself the best football player possible. He starts not being funny when he doesn't develop and perform on the field as he should.

On the field, John Moffitt has been a disappointment. The Hawks drafted him even though he was slow (5.51 40-yd) and weak (23 bench reps for a guy who is 320 lbs) and not very athletic because they were hoping for toughness and work ethic, but I haven't seen either.

Moffitt at this point should be a solid starter and an integral part of the Seahawk offensive line, but there is a significant chance he will not even make the roster. If Moffitt had been an undrafted free agent, he would already be gone.

In my opinion, John Moffitt, so far, has been the biggest draft mistake by Schneider and Carroll.

For the sake of the Seahawks championship hopes and for the sake of John Moffitt, I hope the young man can turn it around and take advantage of his incredible opportunity for a solid career in the NFL. To be fair, this stuff happened last year and he might have turned it around already, but I have my doubts.

He doesn't come off as douchey, he comes off as the type to liven up an atmosphere. This incident happened last year, and it's not even a big deal. Not worried about it.

I fully support Moffitt peeing on bellevue, and don't believe it's going to take away from his commitment to football. you guys that think him taking a leak in that pretentious post-yuppie hole is somehow the nail in his coffin need to relax a little bit.

All he is is jokes and shennanigans. If he were half as serious (and put forth a tenth of the effort) as the average .net poster does, this team would be perrennial world champions.

This whole ordeal happened before last season. Its only now getting coverage because of his court date. I think we need to let this one go guys.

I mean... I remember tate and the doughnuts when he first got here too and we didnt seem to want to hang him up so badly....
