“Every team is going to grow every year, that’s just the way the NFL goes,” Macdonald said. “We don’t play them tomorrow, so I’m not really worried about them right now.”

“No reaction,” he added. “I mean, look, those are great players, and they’re doing what they do. It probably feels like that’s what’s best for their teams, what they need to do, and that’s good. When it’s time to play those guys, we’ll be ready and put together a game plan and go rock and roll.”

“Yeah, I don’t care,” Macdonald said. “Don’t care. If you start worrying about what everybody else is doing, it’s just mentally taxing. It’s so much easier if you don’t.

“Let’s just worry about the Seahawks and being the best version of ourselves and getting better every day.”

He's absolutely right, Pats week 1 is all that matters. At this time, no one knows who will be on the field that far into the season against LA. Heck they don't even know what NE's roster will look like the first week.

Seattle just needs to execute what they do and let everyone else play catch up.

True but in this case I’m pretty sure thats what he believes, seems it’s his philosophy, and I for one appreciate it.
This. Usually coach-speak is a mix of truly meaningless sports phrases and jargon used in place of actually saying anything of substance. When MacD says those things - it is anything but meaningless mumbo-jumbo. It's full of the actual substance of who he is, what he believes and how he coaches his team.

Macdonald also said that Mike Shanahan is an offensive guru and the best in the business; now that is mad respect right there, says that all he can do is focus on is fielding the best pro team he can to compete.
Seems his goal is to grow the confidence of HIS players.
