Big Cat as well. The defense he inherited wasn't like loaded, but it wasn't completely bereft of talent either. What we're seeing is really concerning given MM is supposed to be a defensive mastermind.

There's been some turnover but overall the defensive roster is still essentially Pete's. To run what Mike wants, we knew it would probably take a season or 2 to rebuild with personnel he wants. But this defense is BAD.

Yeah, I didn't literally mean 100%. There are good individual pieces sure but there will be a massive roster overhaul and I don't think Geno will be the starting quarterback.

This defense is genuinely, fundamentally terrible. Most benefit of doubt I gave them with new scheme is gone. These guys don't make plays, they don't get stops, they are the worst intermediate pass defense in the NFL and are getting run the hell over in the run game. This isn't X's and O's, they've been BULLIED since Detroit.

This is the NFL, no excuses for MM or these players at week 6. 11 straight quarters of this defense getting the shit kicked out of them.
