Seattle Seahawks’ Michael Bennett named NFC Defensive Player of the Week


Seattle Seahawk defensive end Michael Bennett has been named the NFC’s Defensive Player of the Week after making 3.5 sacks to lead a dominating defensive effort in Thursday’s 20-3 win at San Francisco.

He deserved it, NFC Defensive Player of the Week 'chopping wood'.

This player is a huge reason why the LOB is the LOB as he disrupts passing timing and reliably puts the thump on opposing QBs and that aggression sadly leads to a number of offside or neutral zone type penalties which go with the turf. He's become one of my favourite players, he is a tad underpaid as well.
