Hmm...

--Cowboys vs. Commanders (Almost completely meaningless to me)
--Lions vs. Vikings (I suppose the Lions have a tiny bit to play for, but no great shakes to me)
--Broncos vs. Chiefs (The Chiefs are out of it. I guess it's important for the AFC #1 seed and potential NFC West division title, but I don't really give an eff)

It's funny that they really thought that at least one of these games would be important beyond the fans of the teams, but it sure turned out a whole lot different.

To be fair... Commanders were good last year... Broncos were on the rise and Chiefs had Patty...

Lions are normally good, and they just banked on Vikings making another run...

Schedulers are dumb dumbs... and honestly most of these Holiday games should be a flex kinda thing... but meh

Yeah, the league and the networks are wringing their hands over what they'd hoped would be a big Xmas tripleheader, particularly Prime Video, which viewed the Chiefs-Broncos matchup as one of their biggest games of the season. However, they still figure that viewership will still be in excess of what it was last year. Overall, this has been a big year for the networks.

I'm in the championship round in my fantasy football league, and there are some players involved tomorrow, otherwise the games wouldn't be of much interest to me. At least my daughter and SIL have shared their Netflix subscription with me so I don't have to pay to watch it.

Geez, might as well add that Raiders Giants game to the Christmas Day slate.
