Some people were complaining about the illegal man downfield penalty wiping out the Rams TD but I have seen the Hawks among other teams flagged in the exact same instance, where the o-lineman wins the rep enough that he ends up downfield on his own after the block.

I saw a look in McVays eyes late in the 4th quarter that I’ve never seen before. Usually he looks like he has it all figured out and everyone is his football intellectual inferior. The best way I can describe it is, “this is no longer a Pete Carroll team. These guys are a real threat. This Mike Macdonald guy knows his shit.”
In OT when we were about to score, I think I read his lips "Defense get us the f*ck outta here let's go!" That was pretty funny.

Yeah, I get the gripe. They lost 4 points over a penalty that ultimately didn't impact the play in a game decided by the narrowest of margins. That kind of play happens to every team every season, and one of theirs happened in one of the last games they would have wanted it to.

But that's just lazy to make that the scapegoat. The Rams had our number. Make a field goal. Extend one more drive instead of going 3 and out with multiple drives of run-run-pass. Stop our offense one more time. Stay respectful instead of taunting the DLine into finding some of their mojo.

For more minutes than not, they were the better team yesterday and made it their game to win. They don't have anyone to blame other than the themselves nor anyone to credit more than their opponents.

Crazy that it took 4 turnovers for the Rams to win by 2 points, and then 3 turnovers to lose by 1. Hawks play a clean game and neither of those games are close.

That's pretty disingenuous considering how much luck Seattle needed to get that win last night

Also....pretty sure I told y'all on here that Stafford was just off that first game, nothing really that Seattle did. Seems like that was spot on based on last night

100%. There were wonky things all around in this game, but the game was firmly ours to win and we just didn't execute. Nobody else's fault.

He's a whining bi&&&
Clear enough for you????
Him and Puka can piss off.

He is literally one of the most humble and respectful coaches in the league lol.....who hurt you?

He has been nothing but complimentary about Seattle. The only reason he was annoyed in the press conference, outside of blowing that game, is because after one of the greatest games in recent memory, all they wanted to ask about was Puka being a dumbass 24 year old kid.

Luck? What luck? All I saw was the Rams thinking the game was over and McVay turtling up. Sorry that your team doesn't know how to finish a game.

Stafford being "on" wasn't enough to win the game. The only way the Rams can beat the Seahawks is if they spot you 4 turnovers, apparently. Even 3 isn't enough.

That's a possibility. Another possibility is that the Seahawks have played the Rams as clean as they can and the Rams are better by 2 scores. I'd be very happy for the Rams to play the Buccaneers in Tampa and then the Seahawks in Seattle. I don't fancy playing the Eagles or the Packers on the road, but i'd still like the Rams chances, which wasn't the case in previous years. If it's not the Rams year then so be and i'll certainly wish the Seahawks the best.

Not me. The rule is fair and if someone breaks it there should be a penalty.

At this rate, the next game between the two the Hawks will only have two turnovers and win by four. I think the Hawks have proven they don't need a clean game to beat the Rams, that's the beauty of a win like yesterday and the upside of the loss by 2 earlier in the season. Hawks took the best shot the Rams had to give and kept getting back up. That changes the psyche of an opponent. The Rams can throw for 500 yards and it still isn't enough.

The Rams got beat by the better team. We're 12-3, currently first in the division, and the #1 seed in the NFC, while the Rams are 11-4, currently 2nd in the division, and the #5 seed in the NFC. Let's keep it simple.

Yeah, you're not 100% with what I'm saying if you're not also giving credit to your opponent lol.

Absolutely
I believe once he fully understands what happened per the rules, he’ll be fine.

Won’t like how it turned out, but he’ll have understanding and move on

Apparently not. In his interview today he essentially said he is going to try to get the rules changed, and was crying about it to the reporters. He is a baby, and deserves no respect.

You cant be serious. The reason Stafford was better this game was because he had all day to throw unlike the first game. And in the 4th qrt when the Hawks defense made him uncomfortable and actually started hitting him he made those same throws that were off like the first game. That's why in the 4th qrt the Lambs had 4 or 5 3 and outs. The difference this game was Mcgay, had a better game plan that worked in the first half to perfection. Once the Hawks woke up, the lambs didn't expect to get punched back. And Big balls MIKE hit him with the knock out blow 2 pt conversion. Game over! Hawks 1 seed.

Well then isn’t that something.
I still give his due for how he handled his initial response.
If he’s going to be a bitch about it now that he knows what happened that’s on him 💯

Agreed. What I couldn’t stand is when the TV announcing ref said he was pushed into the penalty. Of course when you see the replay you can see that was not true.

The funny part is, it doesn't even matter if he was pushed into it, because what draws the penalty is what happens after he loses contact with the defender. It's the forward motion and turning around that is what the ref sees and throws the flag on. If the olineman gets pushed passed the eligible blocking area and just stops and/or doesn't turn around, he would have been fine, but he moves forward and then presents himself as a receiver by turning towards the QB before the ball is released.
