Rodgers is still butt hurt about that, last night said the Fans in Seattle scared the replacement referees into making that call and that it was not a catch. The simultaneous catch rule wasn’t changed
How many times do I have to say I was ok with the rules as they were on Thursday, ok with the officiating, ok with the outcome, and ok with not changing the rule going forwards. Perhaps you should read your previous comment that my post was in response to.So if the defense recovers that ball and returns it for a score, you want to screw over the defense by ruling that an incomplete pass? Makes no sense. You are coming at this from wanting to "fix" the outcome of that particular 2 point conversion, which is not how rules should be made. That have to have a universal application that aims to make the most fair outcome the most likely outcome.
This is just sour grapes from a Rams fan. Just because you were on the losing end of a rare situation doesn't mean you should be looking to change the rules. It's weak sauce. Just because your coach is acting like a baby doesn't mean you have to support him.
You STILL think the Fail Mary was a legitimate play? SMH. I'm going to wish you well and move on.Well, one was a blown call (missed PI) and the other was the right call (Hail Mary). The hail mary play was another instance of fans not knowing how to properly apply the rules of the game, and complaining about it despite the fact that there was clear video evidence showing that it was the right call.
#CheatHawks are back, baby.So fail Mary, now the Zackwards pass,
Seattle Infamy
yep. A backwards pass has always been a live ball.Still isn’t a fumble no matter what you hear people shout. This play was a lateral pass thus a live ball. The rule works as it is designed and isn’t going anywhere over a one in a million type play.
Be stated multiple times here, and in the media as it relates.Real question here.
Was there a whistle prior to Charb touching it?
I honestly couldn’t tell (crowd noise).
I think it was more legitimate than the 2019 Rams playoff pass interference no call in New Orleans. You STILL think the Fail Mary was a legitimate play? SMH. I'm going to wish you well and move on.
I agree. I have never disputed that the play in the Rams @ Saints game was an obvious foul, or that the officials blew the call. I'm fine with being able to challenge a PI or PF call that either was, or wasn't, made. I also don't think it's hard for replay to reverse an obvious missed call. It's a lot harder to reverse something that has already been called.I think it was more legitimate than the 2019 Rams playoff pass interference no call in New Orleans.
Oh, I know. GG’s.It. Doesn't. Matter.
Hey @flv2 ….sorry you’re not ok with the rules as they were on Thursday, not ok with the officiating, not ok with the outcome, and not ok with not changing the rule going forwards. How many times do I have to say I was ok with the rules as they were on Thursday, ok with the officiating, ok with the outcome, and ok with not changing the rule going forwards. Yes. I'd be ok with a defense not being able to recover and/or return the incomplete pass - at any point during the game. If this had happened on a routine play with any team's offense inside their own 10-yard line and an opponent had picked up the ball most fans wouldn't want that play to be ruled as a turnover. Again, I won't be angry if they leave the rule as it is.
No sour grapes and no defence of McVay. Perhaps you should give Soulfish his blinkers back. SMH.
