Hopefully it would never come down to this but if you had to choose between the two of them. Which one would you keep at the end of the year? This is purely a hypothetical question, just curious what everyone thinks. My vote goes to Golden.

Tate, simply because I think he has more good years ahead of him than beast. And we have depth in place to cover at RB when that sad day comes.

Not sure, we always see what happens when RB's hit the 30yr old mark and the Beast is getting there, so I think I would go with Tate.
Even if we only get 2 more years out of the Beast,it's a no brainer,he's that valuable(Marshawn)

I am not sure a no brainer here, Tate has been on fire this year and I think when Harvin gets back(whenever that will be) Tate will get even more balls his way, don't get me wrong Lynch is the biggest part of the team right know but for the future I would go with Tate. I would hate to have to make this decision and hopefully the team will never have to.

Lynch is our entire running game and a staple of the Offense. Tate is becoming more valuable but we could never lose the beast

Ok...my term "no brainer" might be taking my opinion too far,but come playoff time I think the Beast will be very vital to the teams success.

For the present team the Beast is the choice, but for the future I would go with Tate hands down as the age factor comes in and the way he runs must put a beating on his own body and not just the defenders.

We have a Superbowl caliber team right now,3 years from now and beyond Tate may be the better player but who knows if the team will be Superbowl contenders?Thats why I lean heavily towards the Beast, but really it don't matter,we have em both.

Tate is the choice long-term. Lynch is short term. As much as we love Lynch and deservedly so, it's just the way it works with the RB position. Lynch more than likely has 3 seasons left, max, as an effective runner, and one or two left as the bruising beast he is right now.

No doubt Lynch is back next season but he's a big question mark after that. For all you Christine Michael supporters who want to see him in games? That's why. He's set up to be our #1 back of the future, with Turbin likely being a career back-up. No sense in putting extra mileage on Michael now. He only played as much as he did yesterday as a birthday present from Pete from what it sounded like on his twitter.

My assumption is that we go to work on that O-line in the mean time, and work on transitioning to more of a passing team over the next few seasons. Russell has proven he can make all the throws. If we gave him a top-tier o-line no doubt he would be in that 'elite' group of QB's.

Orlando, FL...for good.
Their respective ages means Tate should win this question. Turn Beast Mode into a younger man the same age as Tate, and it's a different story; but Lynch is the hardest runner in the NFL, and he's 27. Tate's 25, and receivers last quite a bit longer than RBs anyways.
