Every player on the team has a different variation of the blue, white, black, and the green on their shoes. Some have green around the ankles and some just on the soles, and everything in between.

Marshawn was fined not because of the green upper, but for the solid GOLD cleats and bottoms of the shoes he wore against the Texans.

Idiots need to get their facts straight.

An exhaustive search of the interwebs produces the same story. Not a peep about the gold anywhere, but that is the color that differs from the Seahawks scheme, not the neon green. Too funny.

Same color green as on Marshawn's shoes. Did they get fined? Nope.

Yes. Several guys wore green shoes. My question is, is there a web site that you can look up nfl fines on a week to week basis? I'm with Scott on this. I've heard nothing on the other players being fined for the green shoes. I think there had to be more to it, than just color.

On a fundamental level, I don't know how they justify taking money from players. Is that the way people are disciplined in this country?

Does your boss take money out of your check for mistakes you make on the job? Or does he just have a quick talk with you and that's the end of it?

Oh, because NFL players make more money, it's cool? Oh, because they're trying to protect the NFL brand, it's ok? What company isn't trying to protect its own reputation?
