He was, I"m very happy though, that he has found another team, it would be a sadder day had he been cut/waived and his career came to an end... Happy for the guy.

I think we'll be just fine without him.
Maybe we'll get some penalties in our favor out of his departure.

:ditto:

Loved the guy and wish him nothing but the best!

I WILL miss Jacob Martin though. It would have been fun to watch him develop here. I hope he tears up the AFC while playing across from J.J. Watt! :2thumbs:

Yeah, I was disappointed with that cut as welll. I'm just a fan though, so the FO must know they have something better.
Hawks!

Complete respect for Marsh and Martin. Non stop motors. They give it everything they have.

I too am a big Jacob Martin fan, who is sorry to see him go. I am sure the hawks would have loved for him to stay here, but I don't think Houston was going to settle for less.

Once cut by the Cardinals, he will just need to join the RAMS to make it a NFC West Grand Slam.

Add AC to the list also..Martin is a loss more so than other two
but they are all non stop players.

Never was a fan of Marsh. Rarely got pressure and could never hold up from drawing a late hit.

This. Mostly hype when he came in but little else. He's on his 5th team in just a few years, that should tell you something.

Meh, he did very little. I'm more bummed about Calitro, that was a shocker. Pretty fine with the other moves, but choosing Griffin over Calitro, not a fan. Maybe he'll come back, but I can't see him not getting picked up by another team. But as far as Marsh goes, he did nothing.

Marsh was higher on the depth chart than Jackson but also three times the cost. We don't have as much cap room as it looks like we do and so they went for cheaper contracts on many of the fringe depth spots this season.

100% agree with all of this.

I will not miss Marsh either.

Agree as well all three, Marsh, Martin and Calitro are "journeymen". I think Calitro will be back as the season wears on unless he's signed elsewhere.

Looks like Calitro is a Jag now.

Looks like Pete and John pretty much thought he was a JAG prior to release as well.
