Seemed like just yesterday we were watching him in spring training and were like "gotta start him opening day he might be something special". Also in other news Logan Gilbert got married.

Should have been unanimous! I would like to know who didn't vote for him.

It was Ben Nicholson-Smith. Blue Jay's reporter. Seems like a good guy and I don't think it's salty but it is almost exact same thing when one jerk prevented Griffey from getting 100 percent of the vote for the hof. Petty stuff.

Such a beast. I still laugh at the post someone made claiming he "hasn't proven nothing"
Gotta' love the classics.

Not only that, but did that person complain about signing him long term, claiming Julio wasn't a top 25 player and never would be?

Too bad he finished under .300. Seems like a few of them were over the mark at one point, and then everyone's average dovetailed.

Can't discount the 30 strikeouts early in the season, MANY of them were called strikes that were not even CLOSE to being a strike. He overcame that, but it was pathetic how much they were ringing him up when he was showing a good eye at the plate. That stretch contributed to him not batting .300. However, expecting a rookie to bat over .300 is fairly unreasonable. Not exactly a regular thing imo. He played thru some injuries and still had damn good numbers.
