We so badly needed the good Kirby back.
Its odd people are complaining about runs scored or hits.... I mean this is how baseball works? If Kirby is on we are all of a sudden suppose to score 10 runs? THats not how this works at all

With the Mariners, it's the opposite. We send our ace out to the mound and the bats normally get cold. ;)

Pitching and defense won this game, with a couple of well timed hits.

They were 0 for 11 with RISP before they FINALLY scored. No, this ISN'T how baseball works. This is how MARINERS baseball works.
HUGE difference.

3 runs is pathetic with all the chances they had the score. Period. If you're satisfied with only 3 runs, all while leaving a ridiculous amount of guys on base, have at it. That's not good baseball. It's not complaining, it's FACTS.
They had 11 hits. Angels only had 2. They won 3-2. Come on, a win is great, but they have ZERO chance to make the playoffs if they don't start getting clutch with RISP.

The MLB average for runs per game this year is 4.6..... Assuming teams need to score 10 runs for people to be happy seems a bit absurd.

Perhaps if our bullpen wasn't tanking and our "aces" could come back to form it wouldn't really matter like it almost never has

You're the only one that has said anything about needing to score 10 runs to be happy. No one else has said anything like that.

That's cool if you're satisfied with 3 runs. Some people aren't. Who cares?
