It's amazing that no one in the dugout is able to recognize when a reliever just doesn't have it today. Wilson has done this a bunch this season where he leaves a badly struggling reliever in there to give up a bunch of runs even though he had ample opportunities to get the guy out of there before things got way out of hand.

After you are already far behind... whats the point? Logan gave up 5... Leg only has had one bad game in the last 7 appearances ..

Not sure what else you would do?

Down 7... you might as well save some of the bullpen for the rest of the series

I would pull a guy that's struggling badly. But hey, that's just me.

Judge closes the HR gap, then Cal takes one back. Sets Mariners record for homers before the break.

Nice to see them still playing late and getting 3 runs. Had enough shutouts this year already.

Game was lost after the Stanton homer. Ms don't have the slugging to compete. Williamson and Young don't hit home runs. It's why Julio needs to hit more doubles and homers or else forget about playoffs.

I think it's partly the nature of baseball, where batters fail more than they succeed. And the pitching these days is insane, pitcher after pitcher throwing 98 mph.

But I bet you're right, that most fans probably think they have the worst hitters. I saw that Yankee fans were booing Aaron Judge after striking out. Are you kidding me? That guy hits 60 HRs for you every year.

Most MLB hitters can hit a 98 mph fastball if it’s that fast usually there is no movement and the player just has to meet the ball. It’s the pitchers that can change speeds and locate the pitches high/ inside or low/away when pitchers get in trouble is when they are predictable. IMO the best pitcher in the modern era was Gregg Maddox the master of the 85 pitch shutout and didn’t have a fastball that went over 90 mph

I watch the Yankees every night on MLB.TV they have been really stinking up the joint lately the NY fans are getting frustrated with a team that should be playing better.

I got spoiled and it's why I hate high pitch counts in only 4-5 innings, to me it's not
