Yes, its just preseason and he is going against backups but his numbers are way better than Geno and he is really accurate.

When was the last time in recent history had we had a 2nd string guy that didn't suck and when cut was actually picked up to be a contributor to another team besides Matt Hasselbeck in Indy.

Mannion has 6 years of NFL experience behind him and he's still last on the depth chart. It makes sense for a playoff team to have a veteran as the #3 on the PS rather than a prospect so by all means give him reps if McGough is toast and the team can't get someone else. It's a shame to waste reps on a veteran who isn't really good enough to be a #3.
