Gonna be hearing it for a decade. Deservedly so.

I'm fine with Bevell being associated with a bad call, unfortunately Carroll and Wilson will take the brunt of it for the casuals.
I find it easier to simply give the credit to Malcolm Butler.

He made a helluva play on the biggest stage at the right time.

Saw this yesterday and laughed pretty hard.

Seahawks Social Media guy sure left themselves ripe for the zinger.

Kudos to him for sure, but it's annoying that a rookie DB was able to predict exactly what would happen and where to be because of our stupidly simplistic and predictable offensive formations.

Biggest FAIL in SB History. Outside of a similar situation where the QB fumbles a kneel snap and the other team takes it back in the final second of the game to win (down 6). I can't see any other situation where another team could overtake the Hawks for this award.

He knew what the coming play was because GOD told him!....or are you calling Russell Wilson a liar?

Scott: Jackie Smith vs. the Stealers and he was a TE not a WR......HOF I think. Cowpatties lost 35-31. SB XIII.

The tough part about that Jackie Smith drop is he had played most of his HOF career with the St Louis Cardinals and finally got to the big game, then to drop that TD pass wide open like he was. I felt bad for him. In a weird way, sort of how I felt bad for Kevin Williams after coming here then to lose his chance for the ring on a goal-line interception.

That and I feel bad for the guy who got the back to back SB tatoo. Not really, that guy took a chance but it didn't work out.

Madden trolls is not accurate as they just answered the @seawhawks question with humor. Now if madden would of just posted saying Marshawn was a run from 99 that would be different.

Unfortunately, IMO this will always live on. No matter what. It was such an infamous play, that even if there is some play that comes close to it, 9 out of 10 times the Hawks interception will come up in the conversation. Even if we win 5 SBs in a row, it will still come up.

Price to pay to be a Hawks fan. I'll take it.

If we didn't win it all the year before, this would have really hurt. But I thought it was funny.

Must have missed this one...lol Hate to admit it, but that's pretty damn funny. No worries. Looking forward to a SB50 win!

Let's not forget that being at the goal line wasn't a given in the SB.

Only one other time in watching football since the late '80s have I seen a catch like Kearse's:

And of course, it's not like the Seahawks had the clock stopped with 2 timeouts remaining......more like clock running with 1 left.

When I recall that the timeouts were *3* before this last drive, then that's on the coaching staff.

If you want to play the "what if" game, look who got injured for Seattle that even allowed the Patriots to start looking like they belonged in the Super Bowl. Not losing any players during the game probably would have had us winning by at least two scores, if not three. Not to mention a very banged-up Legion of Boom coming into that game. Just sayin'.
