I’m going to have to take a shower after this but I have to give credit where credit is due. I didn’t think the 9ers had a chance tonight with all their injuries. Instead, they came out on fire and clearly Shanahan had them ready to fight.

Jones? Who is this guy?!

I hate the 9ers but hate the Rams more so I found myself in this completely bizarre world where I was cheering the 9ers on throughout the game.

At the end of the day I just found myself admiring the job performed by the players and coaches to beat one of the “elite” NFC teams in their house even though they are incredibly depleted injury-wise.

So yes @94Smith here are your well deserved flowers. Enjoy this victory as you should. You should be damn proud of the performance they put on the field tonight.

And now, off to my shower.

I stated in another thread these two team have a history and records mean virtually nothing, their intent is to beat each other up and football is just the means to do it legally.

Yeah, I was all wrong about that game. I had the Rams winning by two TD's.

This has been a difficult season to get a grip on.

I dunno, it feels nice to be back in a tough division with a potentially great hawks team. Its gonna be interesting to see how we stack up against the rest of the division.

Ditto. I was slack jawed at how well the Niners played, particularly under their conditions. Crow is on my platter today. Shanny and that staff know what they're doing, and so does Lynch.
Jones put down a heroic performance. I never would have expected to see him pull that off. That is what convinces me they have some serious coaching going on.

I was also rooting for the 49ers. However, the Rams did benefit enormously from a couple of missed calls. One being a fumble recovery by the Rams that wasn't because the ref hurriedly blew the play dead when it was actually still unfolding, and the other, Mac Jone's head being swiveled around by a Rams defender that wasn't called. IIRC, anyway. But we'll take it -- the 49er victory may prove to benefit Seattle come late December.

Mac had a lot more familiarity and comfort with that receiving group than Purdy. He’s been the main qb throwing to the 2s and 3s since preseason. They’re his guys. And Bourne was his guy on the Patriots.

I'm just glad I can go back to rooting against the 49ers now.

But the Rams are definitely a bigger threat to the Seahawks this year. That defense was just a half a second away from blowing up Mac Jones on every pass play.

Yeah it really was a nice win for the 69ers tbh. Shanahan is the sole reason for their success with a scripted time of possession hoarder he does a great job keeping the other team’s offense off the field because he knows how badly his team actually bites as a roster

I can tell you one thing about that game last night. The Lambs did nothing to stop the quick passing plays. Mack Jones rarely came off his first read. It looked easy for him out there. Not sure what to make of this game when a defense plays the same all night. Something about these Thursday night games where home field advantage dosent matter.

They call it Levi’s South for a reason. It’s two thirds niner fans.

Guessing you missed all the non calls on LA O-line for multiple holds, roughing calls, etc. The refs league wide have become predictable, soon as one team starts to pull away out comes the flags or turning a blind eye. Unless its a blow out like Hawks vs NOLA you can expect refs to keep it close.

Rams have no excuse, they lost to a M*A*S*H unit.

Yeah they dominated TOP 40 minutes to 26, playing keep away from Stafford and company - limiting his opportunities to score. Rams D couldn't cover Bourne and barely pressured a hobbled QB. I thought their defense was supposed to be elite but it wasn't impressive on Thursday.

Bourne had a great night to be sure and congrats to him. But honestly......Who the F##k is that guy?

He looked like Jason Bourne out there - not some third string receiver I had never heard of till last night.

And nice work Ram's DB's - good lord that was sad. He was clearly the primary target and you couldn't cover him - at all.
