He usually sits out wed. practice this time of year but this was the first time he's had a knee injury listed for it so that is out of the ordinary.

Eyebrows were raised when Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch missed practice on Wednesday with a knee injury.

The eyebrows can now return to their normal position. Per a league source, Lynch will play on Sunday.

With the Bucs coming to town, the Seahawks don’t necessarily need Lynch on Sunday. Then again, a sputtering passing game will only get worse if Lynch isn’t available to keep opposing defenses honest.

Lynch has 601 yards rushing in eight 2013 games, with seven total touchdowns. He’s averaging 4.1 yards per carry.

Now if they'll actually hand him the ball more than 8 times, particularly on say, oh I don't know, first and freaking goal at the 2!!

I dont like how much Turbin is used. Lynch is clearly better and needs touches to control the clock.
Mix up the play calling Speed/plays and batter the opp0nents in to submission.

Of course I know all...

A good reminder to not overreact to the injury report.

I always find it interesting to watch the progression of the Injury reports each week, but it is true that you can't base anything off of one day's reports, and not really off of just the reports. To get a feel for what's going on, you have to listen to what pete says in his pressers throughout the week and combine that with the friday injury report to get a better idea of who may miss time on any given game day

Completely agree. I wish they would leave last year's reports up. I like to be reminded of which players they tend to let rest.

:13: Seahawk wisdom here. We're going to be "all ears" Friday as we get the update for Percy Harvin.

posted in the injury update thread, but saw on the newstribune blog where they quoted a twitter feed from sirrus radio that pete had said Harvin was NOT going to play this week
