Lynch is clearly the most important player on this team.

This team is almost incredibly spoiled given a possession inside 10 is almost assuredly a touchdown so long as Lynch gets the ball a few times. Watch the rest of the NFL to see that possessions inside the 10 are not always immediately a TD.

I think he has proven that whatever his contract, he is likely outperforming it.

One doesn't even have to look at the numbers to see Lynch is running better than ever. Is it the reduced carries? I don't know, but as long as he passes his drug tests, I can't see letting him go. The man is not human. We beat him (what I thought was ) to death last year and still he runs like a prime Earl Campbell...but shiftier (and Earl couldn't be counted on to catch a football if his life depended on it).

I agree with extending him BIG TIME!!! He was ON IT today. However, let's not forget that for 2 seasons without Wilson we went 7-9 with Lynch.
Lynch AND Wilson are the most important players on this team, no doubt in my mind.
