But in order to claim him they have to put him on their active roster and keep him there for the year. I don't see that happening with an UDFA, even if there was a bidding war. They will have their 53's set also when he becomes available. Trying to integrate him into a team after last cuts (which is where he'll likely be going if cut) isn't likely. They usually save those claims for skill players (like Forsett a couple of years ago).
