Going to be interesting to have Sherm on the same field with Revis. If we go up by 3 touchdowns, any chance Sherm talks PC into letting him take snaps at WR?

That would be hilarious and awesome.

And, just to save some bonehead the time: "We can't think about Tampa right now! We need to focus on the Niners!"

Haha yes, I love it when fans say that. "We can't look ahead, we have to take it week by week." Pleeeaaase, we are fans, not players. Give me a break!

Not ever going to happen. Even if we do go up by 3 td's, why risk your best player on defense getting hurt on offense? This isn't a video game bro.

While I agree with you that it would be a dumb thing to do and not needed, it is not unheard of. Mike Vrabel had 10 receptions, all for touchdowns, while he was one of, if not the best, defensive player for the Patriots.

I'll see how it goes with Patrick Peterson before I want to make a decision with Sherman.

I don't think even Sherman is capable of talking his way into that. ; )

To be honest, I'd be happier if Sherman just went over and shook his hand. This won't be popular, but I think it's unfair that Revis has been branded the villain in all of this. To my knowledge, Sherman was the shit-stirrer, Revis just the stick.

Sherman started it, HawkWow, but Revis also called him out again months later. I'd hardly call him just the stick.

Fair enough, but could you really expect Revis to not come back with something? The guy was coming off major surgery, then some Seattle guy takes over his team and starts talking about trading him, then some other Seattle guy starts tellin' the world he's better than him (@ the Mardi Gras).

To my knowledge, and with all respect to your post, I think he was just the stick at that time. I am a huge Sherman fan, but I also agree with Revis' comments about Sherman's motivation: "he be puttin' my name in his mouth, tryin' to make more money". Pretty hard to argue that.

Orlando, FL...for good.
He was just the stick when Sherman originally called him out. He responded then. Months later, he came out with no further provocation from Sherman and made some comments, it was on a radio interview, I believe. :229031_shrug:

I recall his comments. He's not as bright as Sherman and played right into Sherman's hands by continuing the banter. That is unless Sherman has offered him an eventual, fat kick back for keeping it all alive. ; ) I jest, but there is no question this all serves Sherman extremely well. Our team and it's fans? Not so much.

Didn't Pete say that Sherman was nagging him about playing a few snaps at WR during those blowout games last year? Think it was on Brock & Danny a while back.

I know he wanted to go for 2 against his old coach, Harbaugh. I believe Pete's comment was "we have more class than that"...even though Harbaugh had done so while blowing out Pete's USC.

After watching Sherman drop the easy INT vs. Carolina...well, there's a reason you're not a WR, Sherm. ; )
