Last I checked they have won 1 final, not even 2 and you're talking about a 3 peat?

Your point?

Our fanbase has a fair share of dummies, just like every fan base.

My point was simply that when an abnormally young and abnormally really good team wins a championship the silly 3-peat talk tends to pop up.

I'm not much of a basketball fan, but as for the Warriors I think -although still silly- it's probably more justified for them after 1 championship than it has been for anyone else after 1 championship since around the turn of the century.

The Warriors are young, so far they look even better this year than they did last year, it would be hard to argue that they're not the most dominate team in all of professional sports right now, and they also play in the NBA (best of 7 series means the best team ends up winning more often; why 3-peats happen more often in MLB and NBA than in the NFL)

Most of us are watching the Warriors or followin baseball free agency.
You know, our other dynasties.

LOLLLLLL

The warriors a dynasty???

He does have a point... nobody was going to beat the Warriors 4 times in 7 games... didn't happen last season... won't happen this season either. I'd bet on a 3 peat too.

Cleveland is a one man show and Lebron's Finals record will drop to what? 2-5?

A one man show? Nah...

Props to the Warriors for last year....but the fact remains that the Cavs were missing two all-star caliber players. Would they have won? Who knows. But we'll never know if the Warriors would have won in that scenario either. Looks like they've used it to fuel their fire so far this year...

I would bet on the Cavs though in a rematch, that's for sure. But then I'm a Cavs fan.

Not sure the Warriors will get past the Spurs though. I'd bet on the Spurs in that scenario and if the Cavs make it back to the finals, I'd rather play the Warriors than the Spurs.

..and they had both of them back this year and the Warriors were down Barnes and their Coach...same result.

I've been hearing "yeah buts" all offseason about the Warriors. Steph Curry was a first team all NBA player last year. So was LeBron James, Marc Gasol, James Harden and Anthony Davis. The Warriors played and eliminated every single one of those other All NBA players.

I will say this much tho....they are the worst 29-1 NBA team in the history of the league. :D

LOL, a thread about 49ers being bad turns into a GSW love fest. Pretty pathetic.

Niners ARE bad...but I'm gonna respond when someone says something about the Giants or Dubs.

Congratulations to Scot McCloughan for his first year results as the general manager of the Washington Redskins.
