Isn't LSU in the midst of a very public divorce with a coach who is wholly unlikable and unreliable? Why they want to do that again is beyond me.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if Kiffin at LSU/UF ends up like Lincoln Riley at USC, where they win just enough to not be able to justify the ridiculous buyout.

Kelly is getting his 58 million buyout as long as he sincerely looks for a new gig to offset the buyout. I'm predicting a kiffen flub and subsequent buyout. Seems like Kiffen has coached all over to me. Man he was all over the place with ridiculous sound bites yesterday.

It used to be that the dumbest teacher at the high school was the football coach.

Now, the biomedical research professor at a university will be lucky to make $120,000. Not a bad salary, but basically a hundreth (not a tenth, a hundreth) of what the football coach at the same university makes. That's one percent of the coach's salary.
