I watched like half an episode of the Bills H/K and it was borrrrrring. Although the constant shots of the sprinklers whirring in the morning was always riveting. Seriously, Hard Knocks has become so lame* and carefully managed by the teams involved that it's just another infomercial.

*no offense intended to actual lame people

I haven’t watched any hard knocks because I figured it would be boring watching a team I don’t follow. Back in the days of training camp in Cheney I used to post about two to three times a week on an AOL message board with camp reports. Some people might find watching football practice boring but if it’s a team I’m interested in then I’m all in!

I can't wait to see this and have wanted the Hawks on every year. Looking forward to this!

It's just gonna be an hour of Jody negotiating with a new potential owner each week. Somewhere during that hour Pete Carroll will be in disguise and you'll have to see if you can spot him like Waldo.

Good point there as if the buyers were announced during camp that would be interesting!

Does this mean that the team decided to do it? My understanding is that the NFL can only force a team to be on if they haven’t been on before and they miss the playoffs two seasons in a row.
If they weren’t forced, then I am surprised they agreed.

Imagine if the 2012-15 or so team had been on. The stories you hear about the defensive backs taunting Russ and being told to cool it. Baldwin and his intensity. Marshawn doing whatever he wanted. That would have been interesting.

I have mixed feelings about this. What I do hope is that Dave Pearson earns his money and makes sure no confidential information is shown/leaked into the show.
I like us being hidden in the PNW where we can do our thing without any National coverage.

The whole "without National coverage" thing went out the window when the team won the Super Bowl. The media would be around regardless.

Good, give the NFL a reason to respect the team on a larger scale. They are in the business of making money, plain and simple. Being a part of the machine can only help the 'hawks get the power/pull teams like NE, KC, Dallas have recieved in the past.

More than likely it will be a boring watch. This team is zero drama, all work no play. They don't seem to have many entertainers on the roster. Some dudes are chill and can be funny at times, but it's still seems very nonchalant when it does manifest.

AJ Barner appears to be a ham but that’s about it.
