They just announced on the broadcast that he gets his first start of the season TOMORROW. Yuuuuuge. Pitch count for him around 70 or so first game out.

Yeah, they'll watch his pitch count to be sure, but our pen isn't in bad shape right now. Had to use Munoz tonight, and we're gonna need him and the rest of the pen in Houston.

They could go to a 6 man rotation

Wouldn't actually be a bad idea. At least until Walter and/or Miller come back.

Could swear they said something about that on the radio lately. Nobody does it now, but that would allow us to keep Hancock up for a while. Would make it difficult to win the strikeout competition, but might help keep the team healthy for the stretch run.

No doubt. I like the idea of using a 6 man rotation. Gives them an extra day off between starts. And if there's a day off in there, can move it around if you need to.
