Yeah, they'll watch his pitch count to be sure, but our pen isn't in bad shape right now. Had to use Munoz tonight, and we're gonna need him and the rest of the pen in Houston.

Could swear they said something about that on the radio lately. Nobody does it now, but that would allow us to keep Hancock up for a while. Would make it difficult to win the strikeout competition, but might help keep the team healthy for the stretch run.

No doubt. I like the idea of using a 6 man rotation. Gives them an extra day off between starts. And if there's a day off in there, can move it around if you need to.

The normal stance has been.. Routine... unless your pitchers work well with an extra day off from a routine or put it into place thats hard... Castillo did NOT fair well with that extra day in the past

First start in 8 months for Kirby, and he was understandably rusty. Soon we get Walter and Miller back. Both have missed substantial time. If there ever was a time to go to a 6 man, it's when they both get back.
