Kicking Zone Rule both ends

So now we've seen 2 Sea games affected by the Kicking zone rule, one a foot from the back of the end zone, one outside the twenty.

Thought that was kinds funny.

I've said this a few times. The new kickoff rules are there to be exploited by teams who are on top of it. There's significant yardage there to be had both offensively and defensively to the teams who really figure it out.

The Pittsburgh mistake wasn't new. A ball has always been live on a kickoff after ten yards. It's why onside kicks are legal. If their guy had covered it, it would have been a touchback.
