Meh, he has much more talent and smarts than Boston ever did. Nothing wrong with a guy putting on muscle to help with impact of big hits.

Smarts yeah, but Boston is arguably the most talented wideout to come out of OSU in the past 30 drafts and there have been many, many great ones.

His game is kinda predicated on quickness, so he doesn't want to add TOO much. I'm sure he knows what he's doing, but it's easy to get addicted to this stuff and go overboard.

Fair enough. I couldn't worry about JSN if I tried. Not even a little bit. And NFL player putting on muscle is nothing new.

“When you see him in person, it’s, like, weird,” Woolen said. “He’s like a sack of potatoes.”

“Literally, when I seen him, I’m like, ‘dang, I didn’t know he was built like that."

Im not "worried" about him right now. Just saying he's not typically the kind of player you suddenly WANT considerable bulk from, and expressing that I hope it doesn't go further beyond where he is now. If it helps him be more explosive off the snap, that's great, but the especially musclebound players at skill positions tend to lack agility and are much more injury prone. As happy as I would have been to lock up DK, my biggest potential concern with paying him was skepticism that his remarkable health so far is sustainable. He finally got knicked up a bit last year, and with his body type, it wouldn't be shocking to me if those injuries start piling up.

Again, not criticizing him, just expressing caution. Not like he needs to power through players. Hell, Robert Turbin would make the offspring of Johnny Bravo and The Hulk feel self-conscious, and defenders could have knocked that guy over with a fly swatter. Not sure I saw him break a tackle his entire time here.

Well, if the plan is to run the ball a lot more then he will need to block. More muscle should help with that. Also, those 50/50 balls are looking more like 55/45 now 😁👍
