I heard the 49ers have been told by management to cool it on the spending. Jed York is not happy with the deals Lynch has made. That includes bringing back Aiyuk when they were really trying to trade him and had a 2nd and 3rd from the Steelers as a done deal.

Yikes.

Not even for the vet minimum would I want a guy that only plays 6 games per season. Seems pretty unlikely that he'd all of a sudden become more durable after 9 seasons in the NFL and a bunch of injuries.

Hard pass for me.
