To the Bears for a 4th.

Adam Schefter just tweeted. I don’t have a link.

Another guard off the market but another team looking for a guard out of the market. That helps though I still think we’re going after center

I suspect he gets a massive deal too. Sounds like the Hawks are going hard after the Center from the Saints.

Just get Dalman. That's all I ask from this FA period. Use the money you would normally spend on 4 JAGs and get Dalman.

Thuney is 32. Need to find a FA OG somewhere in their 20's.

I am thinking we go young FA Center (Dalman) because of Kubiak's comments. Haynes starts at one guard. draft a guard for the other spot in the first 2 days of the draft and sign an older vet guard as insuarance. But who knows what JS is thinking.

Aaaah, the silly season. Where every single move that happens becomes.......why the hell didn't the Hawks do this?!!!!!!
Indeed, looking at our world famous Schneider Line, we need guards, especially left guards as we don't have one. We could use an upgrade on center too but situation there isn't as dire as LG.

Olu was ranked #19 out of 40 ranked centers, he ain't great the first time he started starting games, but he ain't, and not close to as bad as the young guards we started games with.

Joe Thuney is old, but he is a legit Left Guard, he was ranked #7 out of 77 starting guards. Guess who was #77? None other than our own Laumea. He replaced Bradford who was #72, but but but Bradford and Laumea out competed Haynes, lol but Haynes is lined up to become our starting LG.

Ok, you may start crying.

Adams getting released and DK requesting a trade can't help his trade value. If we can get a low 1st rounder, Id be all over that.

An All Pro for a next year:s 4th round pick is a steal! Sure, he is older but proven.

I get the idea that we can't dwell on what the Hawks should have done however a next year's 4th and a 7th to get an all pro in a contract year (So he has to try hard) would have been nice!

The Thuney trade puzzles me a little. I know he is 32 and in the last year of his contract, but doesn't a 4th round pick for one of the best guards in the NFL seem a bit low?

And it was a 2026 4th rd pick which has the same value as a 2025 5th

My guess it was more for a salary dump even after the trade the Chiefs are still $2.9 million over the cap
