Stories like this remind you of just how hard it is to make it to the NFL, let alone play and be a star.. Almost every pro player was a star in highschool and college, So many good highschool/college atheletes get lost in the shuffle. And even if you do make it, it's no guarentee you crack the lineup..

Good story... Makes stories like Hernandez that much harder to swallow for me.

As a BSU Alum/fan I loved Jeron when he was here. I was very happy to see the hawks picked him up. I hope he hangs around for awhile, he has a knack for making plays.

I too didn't know that Sherm and Jeron were High School teammates. Very good story.

Cool story. I didn't realize that he and Sherman went to high school together. If I put Sherms name in the title it would probably get more hits but it's about Johnson. Dang it Jeron. Not Jerod. I am a douche.

imoh, imaho.
