To much invested in receivers none in online. About 50 mil too much in Dre. Too much in little used Noah fant. Come on Jon. Balance.

This is the Seahawks telling us: Don't expect Abe Lucas back before mid season as the soonest. We need a body with Fant on IR.

He's spent a 1st round, 2nd round and several 3rd/4th round picks on OL. That they haven't panne out as well as WR picks says more about the difficulty in identifying quality college OL than it does about investment.

Bunch of folks in here slamming Stone have clearly not seen how last week's grades turned out.
Stone, just like last year, was awful in the game Abe was injured and looks better when he's got week to prepare for being the starter.
Tomlinson is a problem.
Williams is still getting his bearings.
And, Bradford? He's the biggest cottamn problem on this line.
But I get it. It's easy to pick on the guy everybody else is who haven't studied up on the teams performance.

Turf Toe for Cross? First I have heard about it. Good Lord, that is a season long lingering nightmare.

Right now, Stone Forsythe is not the real problem on the O-line. It's Bradford and Tomlinson. We've got to clean up the inside for Geno. It's disappointing that we used a 3rd round pick on Haynes and a fourth round on Bradford last year, and right guard is still a huge problem.

Tomlinson has been getting better at run blocking, at least. I feel like they're going to get a lot better as we continue the year.

When the mess is this large we need to get guys in their 30s and not 40s. journeymen. Established players. Or we might as well hand out butterscotch candy without the wrappers. Wide receivers are a luxury. Its nice to have them but we can get serviceable players for less. One shouldn't skimp on the foundation.
Isnt that what Holmgren did? We had a monster offensive line and some no name receivers.

Not sure why people have been making mountains out of molehills lately. John has always rotated positions through for visits. Until we actually sign someone it’s nothing ore than getting another player on the radar.

Played well each of the past two years.

I'd say it signals that they're serious about keeping the team competitive. Doesn't seem that pathetic to me.
I think his point was that it's pathetic we're in this position in the first place. Years of not prioritizing the Oline is how it happens.
