That is pretty sweet.

I don’t follow college football too closely, but I remember him standing out when watching an Ole Miss game.

I am truly going to enjoy having an intimidating defense again!

Proving to be yet another great find by our master builder of a GM, John Schneider. In Schneider we trust!

Doing my best Toffee impersonation. How did I do, @toffee?

Our team, from Jody to Scheider to practice square players can do NO wrong during off-season. Once the season starts, we are here to keep them accountable.

That's my approach.

Your approach has worked because they eliminated all the problems to the offensive line with out changing it at all. The emperor knows what we need.

Quite sure that Schneider appreciated how I deciphered his genius level GMing on our OL.

He wants a soulmate, who wouldn't, right?

John Randle was a UDFA!!

I don’t know how some of these cats slip through these evaluators radars, but I think Ivey will be a huge contributor. Then again, I thought Benson Mayowa was going to be force lol.

Well in his case, like many others, it was his measurables. They thought he was too small at the time. He's the extreme case at one end of the spectrum but lack of prototypical size has fooled a lot of scouts/teams over the years. I bet there have been a lot more cases of them being right on that front then wrong though.

Wasn't Randle also signed after the draft when it had 14 rounds?

I made the same call (incorrect) about Mike Morris.

I think they are both victims of the depth and strength of the D Line. Hard to make a splash when you have multiple studs at your position in front of you.

I watched a show on John Randle not long ago. I'm not sure he would have been who he was unless his path went exactly how it went.

From NFL films, it's a good watch:

Our D line is so strong in its depth; in the discussion about which player could potentially be released to make room for Rylie Mills, the two viable choices seem to be Mike Morris or Jared Ivey. One is an established player who can provides solid snaps and the other is viewed highly as a talented youth project. Still don’t know what they plan to do, just reenforces how stacked this defense is.

That’s a tough choice.
