couple of weeks I'll breathe a sigh of relief. Need all the team depth we can with not just starters but quality back ups. Olu did OK from what I saw after the first couple of mishaps.

I pray you’re right and I’m somewhat biased because, ya know…GoBlue! 😜
I also love JSN despite being from that school because…GoHawks!
How was Olu at Michigan? I understand he won the award and all, but was he a dominant road grater ever? Not like it necessarily transcends much the pros but still good to know some Intel.

Sundell per Coach in his current live press, "Sundell out a couple weeks, ir is in consideration but not season ending. But He's tough as nails so we'll see"
Saw that. We also have Cabledue who I thought played well at guard in preseason for depth but I doubt Sundell misses more than two weeks he’s tough as crap according to coach Mac and am comfortable with Olu for spot duty

I mean for the rest of the game he got graded at an 80....... Run game was really moving with him there too after the the first two gaffes

I believe we'll be ok with Olo out there, i mean the gap between he and Sundell isn't gapping. The only issue will be those exchanges with Darnold, and maybe getting to know Zebel, the rest of the line has played with Olo in the past, so continuity shouldn't be a huge issue either.. but, we'll see come sunday...🤞🏻

He seemed great at Michigan in all aspects but that’s college and you really can’t compare the two IMO. Personally I thought Olu did very well at pass protection when he was filling in in the past but run blocking is harder for me to grade. As biased as I am, I believe he’s a downgrade from Sundell and the Lambs will try to exploit that. I’m very concerned and pray that I am wrong in this regard

Olu plus Bradford were significantly better at opening up holes in the running game, than Sundell plus Bradford have been.

Bradford looked particularly good in this game. He made a big hole for Darnold to step up into on that big pass to Kupp. He was instrumental in Charbs 30 yard run and his TD, as well as K9’s big run.

Keep in mind, Olu and Sundell came into camp pretty even after Olu started the last 8 games last season. Olu developed a back problem that had him miss most of training camp, so Sundell won the job almost by default.

I expect Olu to do well.

I was about to mention that. Sundell won the job because he was healthy, not because he was better. He did fine so no reason to replace him at any point. Olu may come in and the offense does better and never give the job back to Sundell even when he is healthy. Sundell off the bench can come in for multiple positions if needed, Olu is strictly a center. This may work out for the best.

As I recall, there were several here who wanted to start the season with Olu at center, for this very reason
