He definitely has something in the tank. He's the ultimate one year at a time guy. But he's a hell of a player. At a low $ deal, why not?

The O-line doesn't rotate in and out, but the D-line does. Snag him to give 100% and wear down the O-line.

At the end of the game, it's a sack fest against those worn down O-lineman!

Yes and Yes on picking him up!

I still vividly remember that one play that propelled him into the national spotlight.

It’s strange that I don’t remember much of anything about him from the one season he wore Seahawks blue.

Anyone have a take on why he’s played one season for so many different teams?

ETA:
I wonder if the Hawks actually have interest or if that’s just spin coming from his agents team?

The downside would be sacrificing a promising young DE on this year's roster. It's kind of the Rams approach. We just have to be conscious that next year we're probably going to need to rebuild the DE group a bit. Fortunately, I think DT group will still be in pretty good shape.

Id be for it. Still a high-end run defender who can provide some rush. Very underrated career IMO. Would help keep everyone fresh.

Yeah I want Clowney rotating with Fowler Jr. More than makes up for the loss of Boye Mafe. The Bengals thought they landed a poor man's Micah Parsons but instead he's just an average rotational piece

A bit off topic but in the world of maybes... Christian Gonzales for 2 first round picks. He said he loves Spoon, they workout together and when asked if he was confident about signing with the Patriots he didn't say yes, he said "I hope".

Screw the cap numbers, the Rams have proven it means nothing. Bring in both of these guys and we will have the best defense in the history of defences!

I wouldn't mind bringing him in as depth and he can still be a great rotation piece. I don't want Mills to lose too many snaps but Macdonald is smart and I'm sure if he sees a need filled with Clowney I trust him.

Clowney would be a FANTASTIC rotation piece.

Wouldn't mind it at all if they brought him in but as you said, not at the cost of Mills losing snaps.

Then again, this would enable the Hawks to ease-in Mills into playing regularly before they just toss him out there for the full (or almost-full) 60 minutes.

“A bit off topic”, are you high AF?

Come on Bro, that BS is so far off topic even I recognize it.
